🏡 ATHULYA RESORT – GUEST POLICIES & GUIDELINES

Welcome to Athulya Resort!


To help everyone enjoy a safe, clean, and peaceful stay, we kindly request all guests to follow the guidelines below. Thank you for being a part of our serene community.

🛏️ Accommodation & Room Usage

Occupancy Limits: Each villa has a designated capacity for adults and children. Extra beds are available at the front desk upon request, with applicable charges.

Clean Room Practices: We kindly request guests not to bring food into the rooms or cut cakes inside, to maintain cleanliness and prevent damage.

Avoid Wet Rooms: After using the pool, please dry off and use the designated changing rooms near the pool before entering your villa.


🚭 Non-Smoking & Alcohol Policy

No Smoking Indoors: For the health and comfort of all guests, smoking is strictly prohibited in rooms, attached bathrooms, and all indoor spaces.

Alcohol-Free Resort: In line with our family-friendly environment, liquor consumption is strictly prohibited in all common areas within the resort premises.


🐶 Pet Policy

While we love animals, pets are not allowed inside the resort. Please make arrangements accordingly before arrival.


🔊 Noise & Entertainment Etiquette

Music & Volume Control: Kindly keep noise levels low, especially in open areas after 8:00 PM. Small Bluetooth speakers are allowed, but please be mindful of neighboring guests.

Event Hosting: For maintenance and hygiene, we ask guests to use outdoor areas or designated venues for celebrations. Please avoid hosting events inside the rooms.


🍽️ Kitchen & Dining Area Guidelines

Resort Kitchen Use: The kitchen is managed by our in-house team to prepare meals for guests upon request. Cooking by guests is not permitted to ensure hygiene and safety.

Reheating Assistance: We are happy to assist with reheating baby food or milk upon request. For safety and operational reasons, guests are not permitted to enter the kitchen area.

Dining Space Cleanliness: Guests are kindly requested to keep the dining area clean by clearing tables after use and disposing of any waste properly. This helps maintain a hygienic and pleasant environment for all.

Dining Hours & Leftover Policy: The dining space remains open until 9:30 PM. Any leftover food will be moved to the kitchen after closing. The management reserves the right to dispose of leftover food and does not encourage storing it overnight in refrigerators for health and safety reasons.


🧹 Cleanliness & Maintenance

Litter-Free Premises: Please use the dustbins provided and avoid littering in public or private areas of the resort.

Professional Cleaning Fees: A cleaning charge may apply if the room or common areas require additional professional cleaning due to misuse or untidiness.

Event Clean-Up Policy: While we are happy to help you host birthday celebrations and special events, please note that an additional cleaning fee may be applicable if extra housekeeping is required after the event. Charges, if any, will be based on the actual cleaning needs assessed post-event.


🏊 Swimming Pool Rules

Timings: The swimming pool is open from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM IST.

Supervision Required: Children must be supervised at all times by an adult.

Proper Attire: Only dry-fit swimwear is permitted in the pool. Cotton clothes are strictly prohibited. Dry-fit clothing can be arranged at an extra cost.(subject to availability)

Use Designated Facilities: Please use the exclusive changing rooms and showers near the pool to avoid wetting villa rooms.


🛡️ Safety & Responsibility

Guest Responsibility: All guests are responsible for their personal safety and belongings during their stay. Athulya Resort does not assume liability for any accidents or injuries.

First Aid: A basic first aid kit is available at the front desk. We advise guests to carry their personal medications.


🚫 Prohibited Activities & Items

Hazardous or Illegal Items: Bringing explosives, weapons, poisons, contraband, drugs, or any items prohibited by Indian law is strictly forbidden.

Strictly Banned: Activities such as gambling, prostitution, or the use of flammable, pungent, or restricted materials are not allowed on the premises.

No Animals: Apart from service animals (with prior approval), no animals are permitted on the property.


📷 Photography & Property Use

Respect Property Settings: Please do not disturb or move any fixtures or furniture within the resort.

Photography Policy: Any photos or videos taken at the resort must not be used for commercial or business purposes without written consent from the management.


🌙 Nighttime Safety

For your personal safety, we kindly advise against stepping outside the resort premises after 9:30 PM. Please remain within the gated property during nighttime hours.


🔌 ⚡Electricity Usage & Power Backup  ⚡

Guests are kindly requested to switch off all lights, fans, air conditioners, and electrical appliances when stepping out of their cottage rooms to promote energy conservation.

During any power outage, inverter backup will remain active at all times to ensure essential lighting and basic utilities remains in operation.

Generator support is complimentary for the only first one hour during a power shutdown.

If guests require generator usage beyond the first complimentary hour, an additional charge of ₹800 per hour will be apply and will be provided only upon guest request and approval.

We sincerely appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain an eco-conscious and comfortable environment.


🛎️ Check-in/Check-out

Check-in time is 2:00 PM and check-out time is 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

Guests must sign and collect towels during check-in and ensure they are returned during check-out. A charge of ₹500 per towel will apply for any missing or unreturned towels.

Any recreational/play items provided must be signed for at check-in and returned in good condition before check-out. Damaged or unreturned items will incur additional charges based on the item.

If any stains, damages, or breakages are found on beds, furnishings, room items, or within the resort premises, guests will be held responsible and charged accordingly during check-out.


📅 Booking and Cancellation

Booking Confirmation: To confirm your reservation, a 50% advance payment is required. This ensures a smooth and guaranteed booking experience.

Cancellation Terms:

Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to the check-in date are eligible for a 50% refund of the booking amount.

Cancellations made within 30 days of the check-in date are non-refundable.

Check-In Commitment: Once the booking is confirmed, no cancellations will be accepted at the time of check-in. Guests are responsible for the full payment of all booked cottages, regardless of changes in occupancy or stay duration.

Guest Identification: A valid photo ID (e.g., Driving License or Aadhaar Card) must be submitted via WhatsApp or email to reservations@embeholidays.com at the time of booking or during check-in.
